NACC Conference Scholarships Now Available! The Nebraska Court Improvement Project is again offering six (6) full scholarships to attend the 2008 NACC Juvenile and Family Law Conference in Savannah, Georgia on August 3-6, 2008. "Complex Issues in Juvenile Court Practice", a seminar being hosted by Creighton University School of Law and Continuing Legal Education, will be held on Friday, May 16, 2008. This training opportunity has been approved by the Nebraska Supreme Court Administrator to meet the three (3) hour advanced training requirement for guardians ad litem and by the State of Iowa for 6.25 hours of CLE credit. This data has been extracted from Nebraska's NCANDS and AFCARS databases with the cooperation of NDHHS. The Nebraska Supreme Court has approved the Caregiver Information Form. Neb. Rev. Stat. § 43-1314.02 (2007 Neb. Laws, L.B. 457, § 1) requires courts to provide a Caregiver Information Form to foster parents. The form is now uploaded to the Internet and available by following this link.
