The regional conferences are a series of all-day trainings addressing topics pertinent to the local teams of the Through the Eyes of the Child Initiative. The Initiative's priorities of improving time to reunification, improving parenting time and improving our response to substance-abusing parents are the focus of the 2010 conferences. Sessions included Permanency Pre-Hearing Conferences, Foster Parents facilitating reunification, reasonable efforts, transfer of custody, responding substance abusing parents, improving parenting time, and appellate caselaw updates.
