2008 Advanced Guardian ad Litem Training

Advanced Training Explained:

The Supreme Court Rule requires that GALs get 3 hours of training each year after they have completed the initial 6 hour basic training. Attorneys may choose a variety of training opportunities to meet the requirement as long as the Court Administrator’s office has approved the training. We will post all advanced training offerings that have been approved by the Court Administrator on this website.

If you have any questions about trainings that are not posted on this website please contact Carole McMahon-Bois (402-471-3072), Office of Judicial Branch Education.

The Nebraska Court Improvement Project will be providing two or three further trainings during fall, 2008, and will be making the lecture series described below available for training credit on our website. Information on these and other approved training opportunities will be listed on this webpage as it becomes available.
